(1) sound may only derive from the performer's voice or room sounds (tv and radio sampling are excluded)
(2) all processing of sound & sequencing must be done via custom-written code (no software to be used aside from Max/MSP)
(3) the recordings must be performable live, and must each contain elements which are controllable and elements which are generative.
